This formal dining room was added as part of a repair/renovation due to storm damage. The existing kitchen window was removed and an archway created between existing kitchen and new dining room.
The new dining room, insulated and wired.
Sheetrock installed and sanded smooth.
The beginnings of fielded panel wainscoting.
The built in display cabinets being installed.
Counter tops and tile back splash are next.
We milled all moldings for this room as well as built the custom cabinetry.
All tile in this room was chosen for its close appearance to natural stone with out having the headaches of maintaining natural stone.
Cabinets, moldings, and wainscoting have all been done in White Ash.
All upper cabinets have mirrored backs, glass shelves, and adjustable lighting. The design of the cabinets has been patterned after a breakfront hutch.
The tile back splash in the center has been done differently as to call attention to the fact that this is the focal point of this wall of cabinetry.
A birds eye view of the tile counter top which has also been edged in ash.
A close up view of how we construct our cabinetry. No face frame overhanging the side, no visible joint showing, just nice clean lines.
